So I finally got a domain.

So I finally got a domain.

After asking around, I did some searching and asked Gemini for ideas on how to find a short domain.

Gemini suggested the .ovh extension. It is short and cheap.

I have no idea what ovh actually means. It seems to be a cloud provider, but I am not sure why it can be used as a TLD.

Even though the name is a bit weird, it is incredibly cheap. 10 years is just a little over 1,000 baht. The price is damn good.

So I went to check it out. Of course, the first thing I searched was to see if mash.ovh was available. Turns out it was actually free!

So I ended up getting this domain and then threw together a quick landing page.

At first, I didn’t know what design to go with, so I decided on a 90s retro style. It came out like this.

Sigh, why does it look so teenage 🤣

PS There is also .top which is cheap, but I didn’t like the name so I passed. Just putting it out there in case anyone is looking for one too
