On Sunday I was building an app for my own use and had an AI help me out. It was insanely good.

It did exactly what I wanted. I was having a blast and the ideas were just flowing.

Typed in what I needed.

Feature 1 Done!

Feature 2 Done!

Feature 3 had a tiny bug but we fixed it easily. Done!

Feature 4 let’s go.

I kept coding until night because it was so much fun.

Got to a version that was about 90 percent complete.

Alright last feature. Once this step is done I can hand it over to the team.

Found a bug. Okay let’s fix it.

Fixed it again.

And again.

Spent hours fixing it until it was finally finished. Yay done.

Let’s test it out.

Wait. The first few features were throwing errors everywhere. Completely wrecked.

I asked the AI what happened and it said that to make the last feature work it had to delete 500 lines of my old code.

WTF!!!

Today is Tuesday and I have only managed to recover 80 percent of the original code.

Now I know what git commit and git branch are used for.
